This service is tailored for digital nomads who manage their income and operations through a Colombian SAS. Whether you’re freelancing, consulting, or running an online business, we help you stay compliant, organized, and in control—no matter where in the world you are.
Limitations
To ensure the best service quality and compliance, our accounting services are subject to certain limitations. Please review the following restrictions to determine if our offering is the right fit for your needs:
- This service is exclusively for SAS entities legally registered in Colombia. We do not support other company types such as S.A., S.A.S.B.I.C., or simplified natural person regimes.
- The service is designed for digital or remote business models (e.g. freelancing, consulting, coaching, online sales, etc.). It does not apply to businesses with physical stores, local inventory, or on-site operations in Colombia.
- The monthly invoice and expense limits must be respected. If your business exceeds the included limits (e.g. 10 income invoices and 10 expense documents per month), additional fees or a custom plan may apply.
- Payroll management is not included by default. If you hire employees or pay yourself a salary (non as an independent contractor) through the SAS, a separate payroll plan must be added.
- The service covers only one SAS per subscription. If you manage multiple companies, each must be contracted separately.
If you have employees hired under a labor contract with your company, you must report their information to the DIAN in the correct formats and within the established deadlines, as well as process social security payments with the appropriate calculations. But don’t worry—we’ll handle all of that for you if you need us to.
EVERY MONTH, companies must report updates and process contributions to social security and parafiscal funds to comply with the requirements of the UGPP (Pension and Parafiscal Management Unit). This entity is one of the most demanding and vigilant in ensuring compliance with employee payments. For first-time Social Security registration in Colombia, your company must be affiliated with the required general services, including health insurance, pension plans, a family compensation fund, and professional risk administration. This registration for the company is completed once. However, each employee must be individually registered with these services to ensure compliance with Colombian regulations.
